Monday – CLOSED
Tuesday – Saturday- 11am – 6pm
Sunday 11am – 4pm
Lunch is served Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 2 pm. Lunches are CASUAL and served cafe-style (no table service). Reservations are not required for lunch or tastings. Lunch offerings can be found by clicking on the ‘Visit Us’ tab above.
We invite you to enjoy leisurely wine and spirit tastings and lite food offerings in this relaxing space.
When you pull into the driveway, please follow the signs that will get you to the correct place in the lowest parking lot or look for the yellow flag.

Tuesday, November 26 from 11-2- Lunch in the Lounge
Wednesday, November 27th- NO Dinner Service. Lounge will be open from 11 am – 6 pm with Lunch from 11-2.
Thursday, November 28th from 12-5 pm- Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet. Menu is available on the ‘Visit Us’ tab. Reservation only- limited seating available.
Thursday, November 28th- the Vintner’s Lounge is OPEN from 12-5 pm. NO LUNCH service is available, however, we will have shareables and holiday sales!
Friday, November 29th- BLACK FRIDAY SALES in the Vintner’s Lounge!
Friday, November 29th- NO DINNER SERVICE due to a private party. However, the Lounge will be open from 11 am – 6pm.
Saturday, November 30th- Small Business Saturday Sales in the Vintner’s Lounge- Lounge is open from 11 am – 6 pm with lunch available from 11-2.
Sunday, December 1st from 10 am to 1 pm- get into the holiday spirit with a Candy Cane Christmas-themed Sunday Brunch. For more information about our Sunday Brunch please click on the ‘Visit Us’ tab.
Wednesday, December 4th- DINNER SERVICE is CANCELED.
Thursday, December 5th from 5-9 pm- Winter Wonderland Wine Down with Kickstand. Doors open at 5pm and music starts at 6. Food and beverages are available.
Friday, December 6th from 5-8 pm- Dinner. Find our dinner menu on the “Visit Us” tab.
Sunday, December 8th from 10 am to 1 pm- Retro Christmas-themed Sunday Brunch Buffet. For more information about Sunday Brunch, check out the ‘Visit Us’ tab.
Wednesday, December 11 at 6 pm- Christmas Trivia. Doors will open at 5 if you want to get in early and order your food. Come in festive attire. Teams of 2-6 people. Prizes will be awarded to the top 5 teams.(This is a change from the originally scheduled date of Tuesday, December 10, which are local school Christmas concerts.) There is NO Regular Dinner service this night.
Thursday, December 12th from 5-9 pm- Ugly Sweater Party Wine Down with Phil DuMond. Doors will open at 5 pm and music will start at 6. Food and beverages available!
Friday, December 13th- NO DINNER SERVICE due to a private party.
Sunday, December 15th- A Christmas Story-themed Sunday Brunch Buffet from 10 am to 1 pm. For more information about Sunday Brunch, click on the ‘Visit Us’ tab.
Wednesday, December 18th- NO DINNER SERVICE due to a private party. The Vintner’s Lounge will be open from 11-6 with lunch from 11-2.
Thursday, Deember 19th from 5 – 9 pm- Ultimate Christmas Party Wine Down with Jake Desormo. Doors will open at 5 pm and music starts at 6. Food and beverages will be available.
Friday, December 20th- Special Holiday Dinner- details coming soon!
Sunday, December 22nd from 10 am to 1 pm- BRUNCH WITH SANTA and live music by Tony Levesque. Reservations are OPEN. Every child will receive a visit from Santa and a small gift.
MONDAY, December 23rd- the Vintner’s Lounge will be open from 11 am -6 pm. There will be NO LUNCH SERVICE; however, there will be shareables available.
Tuesday, December 24th- the Vintner’s Lounge will be OPEN from 8 am to 12 pm for last minute purchases.
Wednesday, December 25th- CLOSED
Thursday, December 26th- Vintner’s Lounge is open from 11-6 with lunch from 11-2. There is NO WINE DOWN tonight.
Friday, December 27th- Vintner’s Lounge is open 11-6 with lunch from 11-2. There is NO DINNER SERVICE due to a private party.
Sunday, December 29th- New Year’s Brunch Buffet from 10 am to 1 pm. Reservations may be made via OpenTable or by calling 315-376-4336.
Tuesday, December 31st- New Year’s Eve Party?- TBD
January 1st- January 5- the Vintner’s Lounge will be OPEN from 11 am to 6 pm, with a modified lunch menu.
January 6-10- The Estate will be CLOSED and will reopen on Saturday, January 11th at 11 am.

In 2018, Tug Hill Spirits launched, under the direction of Derek Card, Head Winemaker and Distiller. Keeping true to our vision, our premium spirits, are blended with locally sourced, all-natural ingredients.

Our History
The Tug Hill Estate, home to the Tug Hill Vineyards, Spirits, and Orchards Brands, is an agriculturally based, family-friendly business. We offer high quality, local products, and services in an inviting and positive atmosphere. It is the northernmost Estate Winery and Distillery in New York; a unique terroir, dramatic change of seasons, manicured gardens, and placement overlooking the Black River Valley makes it one of the most picturesque locations.
Tug Hill Vineyards is owned by Jonathan and Taren Beller, who took over starting January 2021 after the retirement of the original owners, Michael and Susan Maring. The Bellers are dedicated to the continuity and growth of a local, community-based agricultural business. And have a greater interest in creating more robust, community-centered events and activities in our gorgeous location.
In 2007 Michael and Susan Maring established Tug Hill Vineyards, breaking ground, and planted over 10 acres of specialty French-American cold-hardy hybrid grapes, alongside 3 acres of raspberries and 5 acres of blueberries. Dale Crossman-Cole, Susan’s sister, served as the first winemaker for several years after a career teaching sciences and physics at Lowville Academy. Her husband, Dick Cole, developed the original marketing strategy. The result of Maring’s family work is a dynamic property that now boasts a distillery and busting event center in addition to an established winery.
In 2018, Derek Card, the Winemaker, launched Tug Hill Spirits alongside our established winery brand, Tug Hill Vineyards. While a growing brand, our distillery encompasses high-quality, natural, and regionally inspired brandy, vodka, and rum.
The Tug Hill Estate team is dedicated to producing high-quality craft beverages, as well as high-quality, but laid back, dining and relaxation experiences. The desire to augment the region’s agricultural and culinary landscape drives both our product and event offerings.
